Meet Dr. Richard D. Willis

Dr. Richard Willis was born in Shreveport, LA. and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from La. State University in 1972 He graduated with honors from LSU School of Dentistry in 1976 and is a member of the C. W. Kells honor society. Dr. Willis then received his advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. During his oral surgery residency he served as chief resident at Charity Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Willis has had a private practice in Monroe, LA. for 20 years and is a member of the Southeast Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, La. Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and the Northeast Louisiana Dental Association in which he is currently Treasurer and President Elect. Dr. Willis is married to Theresa and they have two children, Kelly and Bo. He is an avid outdoorsman and family man. Dr. Willis practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including dental implants, wisdom teeth, reconstructive jaw surgery and pathology
